In Mexico, President Claudia Sheinbaum announced that a 25% tariff on U.S. goods will take effect on Sunday, March 9, 2025. The list of affected products has not yet been released but is expected later this week.
As guidance, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issued three Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) updates on March 3, 2025:
