Woongchan Yum

Woongchan Yum is a Law Clerk at Roberts & Kehagiaras LLP in Houston, Texas. Woongchan joined the firm as a first-year summer associate and is now a third-year law student finishing his studies at the University of Houston Law Center.

Woongchan is actively engaged in various academic and student organization activities at UHLC, currently serving as the Articles Editor of the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal. Woongchan is also an active member and former Treasurer of both the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA) and the Association of International Energy Negotiators (AIEN).

Before law school, he worked as a Strategy Consultant for a “Big Four” consulting firm and as a Research Assistant at another “Big Four” Firms. He earned his B.A. in Economics, magna cum laude, from Sogang University.

He is fluent in Korean, has intermediate proficiency in German, and has basic proficiency in Japanese and Chinese.
