Andrew Kehagiaras is a founding Partner at Roberts & Kehagiaras LLP, bringing over 25 years of experience in admiralty, intermodal transportation and logistics, insurance, and international trade law. He represents U.S. and international clients in complex litigation, arbitration, and regulatory matters. Andrew’s expertise spans cargo and insurance disputes, risk management, contract negotiation, and legal compliance in international business across multiple sectors.
Deeply engaged in the maritime and transportation law community, Andrew is a Proctor in Admiralty with the Maritime Law Association of the United States, where he has served in leadership roles, including Chair of the Committee on Marine Insurance and General Average. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and a published author on key admiralty and transportation law issues. Andrew also gives back to the legal community by mentoring law students and serving as a judge for the Judge John R. Brown Admiralty Moot Court Competition. His professional excellence is reflected in his AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, recognition in Super Lawyers (2021–2025), and inclusion in the Chambers California Spotlight Guide 2025.
Andrew earned a B.A. in Economics (with Distinction) from the University of Michigan—Dearborn, a J.D. from Wayne State University, and an LL.M. in Admiralty from Tulane University. Andrew is licensed to practice in California and Michigan. In addition to his state bar admissions, he is admitted to practice before several federal courts, including the U.S. Court of International Trade and the Ninth and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeals.
